Good Morning, Church

On the road from Flin Flon, MB to The Pas. We celebrated First Communion here this weekend and it gave me pause to remember how significant the gift of the Eucharist is to our daily lives.

I characterized Eucharist as an "embrace" of ourselves as we are and not as we would have ourselves be.

That is a tremendous challenge to us all. To allow ourselves to be loved as we stand: with both our sins and our gifts.

Let us try to remember that today as we journey about our business. We have been embraced by Christ and we are loved abundantly.
